Support - What We Do

Confidentiality

All visitors and clients sign up to our Environment.doc code of conduct.  Services users also have a right to expect to be treated fairly and equally Clients Right Charter.doc

One to One AppointmentsIndividual client support is available to help with claiming welfare benefits, completing application forms, housing and debt advice, advocacy and referral to social services.

Social Events
We offer complementary therapies, social outings, regular Ladies Lunches and Men’s support groups. Allotment gardening, growing fruit and vegetables, is combined with the benefits of exercise, cheap nutritional food and socialising.

Workshops

SPH runs short workshops to broaden or introduce new skills. Individual or group work to write cvs, complete job applications, mock interviews and role play are just some of the methods we use to help clients. Facilities at SPH include use of telephones, photocopiers and computers with printing and internet access.

Drop In Days

Offering a relaxed informal meeting space and the chance to check your emails, search for jobs, have coffee, biscuits and a chat. Drop In days take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Outreach

Our outreach service means that, when appropriate, SPH can offer short term support at home. For example, help in adjusting to a new environment, home visits and accompanying service users to hospital appointments (in Surrey).

Earnsdale Sexual Health Clinic

We attend the Earnsdale Sexual Health Clinic every Tuesday morning and are available to see people without an appointment.
